The VA has a program to help Veterans and their surviving spouses receive the financial support necessary, to ensure their continuing care in an assisted living setting.

The pension with the additional benefit of Aid and Attendance can provide up to $1,830.00 for a veteran, $1,176.00 per month to a surviving spouse,$2,170.00 to a married veteran, or $2,903.00 per month to a veteran couple.
